After the burn......

During and following the dismantling of our camp, We have, established, out of necesity our protocals  for our playa friendly extraction. We'll load all scrap, extraneous parts, garbage, etc., into our vavious camp vehicles. Trash and left over junk goes into our trunks. (ha ha) Seriously, most of our trash will be carried off site and be disposed at appropriate sanatition sites in Reno. We have found in the past that we actually consume less than we have brought out in the past. As a result, we found a site for disposal (yeah, there is a fee) We will be posting links to such sites as the event draws closer. Great news if you feel like hauling out more junk than you bring in. Our primary objective this year is to more carefully utilise our resources to minimise this reality. One of the biggest misperceptions of Burningman involves that it is a big party that ends with the main burn. not so. I suffered heat stroke last time furiously breaking camp in 2001. (I don't reccomend this possibility to anyone) Don't let this happen to you. (yeah it sucks)  Keep drinking water. There are common burning pits that you can burn your left over authorised combustible crap into. Check the burningman web page to find out where (and more importantly what). This practise is generally considered rude and offensive. In other words, DON'T do it!!! If you can not take it with you, do not bring it with you.
Clusterfork camp is a responsible camp site. We respect the playa and embrace the idea of  ZERO impact. If you do not get this, stay very far away.
